Through the making of Fred Hersch's "My Coma Dreams," a theatrical, musical and visual odyssey into the vivid dreams and nightmares he experienced during an AIDS-related coma--this documentary film explores the life and work of an educator, an AIDS activist and one of the foremost jazz musicians of our time.
